This traditional painting style has been practiced for thousands of years, it is an art form that strives to distill the essence of an object or scene in the fewest possible strokes.

Join us to watch this is ancient Japanese art of creating landscapes on black lacquer trays using white sand, pebbles, and small rocks.

Reverend Izumi form the Buddhist Church will be putting on an insightful calligraphy demonstration.
